| Yamabuki Restaurant Closing The Yamabuki Restaurant in Disneyland's Paradise Pier Hotel will be closing on April 11th. DL officials say that guests just aren't interested in the concept anymore. Has anyone eaten there? If so, what was it like? Here's an article: 39 Disney employees told restaurant will close - Around Disney - OCRegister.com Any rumors what's going in its place?

| We've eaten there several times, and enjoyed it very much. I wouldn't call it a "must do," though. The nights we've been there (most recently within the past year) the place seemed quite busy, so I think waning interest on the part of guests might translate to, "We've got a hot, new concept waiting in the wings." We'll see what happens. I suspect that, with the opening of so many new restaurants over at Garden Walk, Disney feels they have to up the ante a bit.

| DH and I had a FABULOUS meal there last April. It was packed when we went. It'll be interesting to see what replaces it.

| We nearly fell out of our chairs after reading about it closing. We were going to dine there on the 18th while staying at the PPR but now I guess we're going to have to pick some other place now. |

| DH and I ate there about 2 years ago. I have to say it was ... OK ... and the place was almost empty. We did go at an odd time though. It's location wasn't the best either.

| That's a real shame. We had a superb meal there a couple of years ago.

| First off the restaurant was tucked in a corner and second it was a high class restaurant at a hotel that is equivalent to the All Star Resorts, budget and families. I ate there twice the week before it closed and they did everything gluten free. I will miss it but it was in the wrong place unfortunately. Very nice staff.
