Minne and Friends or Goofy's Kitchen?

I'm just curious where we will see more characters? I did my PS Reservation for Minnie but I may call and change it. I've been reading good things about Goofy as well. Both are buffet style right? We will be going with my 3 year old and my 4 month old. My daughter is actually not quite 3 so she is free to eat. I've already pre-booked, I just have to finalize my decision. Thanks so much!

For the life of us we can not remember which characters are at either buffet but we can remember that from watching the children at both, it seems they were having the most fun at Goofy's Kitchen. At the Plaza Inn, all the characters did mostly was to walk around and sign the childrens little books and have a few photos taken. However, over at Goofy's, the children are invited to get up and dance, beat on pots and pans and in general, join in on the party. If we had children, you can bet we would take them to Goofy's. Both buffets have a fair assortment of character.

I've done Goofy's Kitchen, Ariel's Grotto & Chip N' Dales but I haven't done Minnie & Friends. I agree with PP that Goofy's Kitchen is a riot for kids b/c the dancing with pots & pans with Goofy. If your DD is a huge Minnie Mouse fan, then you might want to do the Minnie breakfast b/c the title character is the only character guaranteed to make a visit at a character meal, but otherwise, I'd do Goofy based on PP's comments.

Choosing a Character meal can be very difficult because the characters vary so often. A Disney friend found some useful Disneyland Character Meals info that gives you an idea on what characters you might encounter at each restaurant.

I February we saw Goofy, Mad Hatter, Baloo and Pluto at Goofy's Kitchen. It was awesome to see the kids get up and dance and "cook" with Goofy.

It was totally DH's favorite Character Breakfast (we also did StoryTeller) and I've been told that we we go back next year it's a must for our first breakfast.

Do Goofy's Kitchen. My DD and her friends had THE BEST TIME there! Here are some pictures from last month. I think they were having more fun boogying down with Goofy than the smaller kids were!
