Question Club 33

My husband and I were recently invited to dine at Club 33. I'm so excited! Has anyone been that can tell me more about it? I've heard there is a food minimum. Is this true? What kind of dress code?

This is my first trip to DL so I'm completely clueless.

WOW! Congrats! I don't know the answers to your questions (maybe there is a Disney # you can call?) but I am so jealous !! We got to see a bit of it when we took a tour a couple years ago. You'll have to tell us all about it when you get back

There is a food minimum, but if you order a meal, you'll be fine. They try to discourage ordering desserts/drinks only and sharing. For lunch, park touring clothes were fine, dinner was slightly nicer, but even nice jeans and shirt/blouse were acceptable.
Enjoy yourself! It's a truly magical experience for a Disney fan! And the food and service were fantastic.

The minimum is because guests of Club 33 get a one day park hopper pass with the reservation. If you don't dine or just order a drink the club member is billed for the park hopper pass. Since a park hopper is $94 you essentially get a free day in the park for the cost of a meal in the best restaurant in Disney and one of the best in So Cal.

Lunch is park casual but Dinner is dressy. Slacks and collared shirts for men, blouse and skirt or trousers for woman. They won't let you in one minute before your reservation time so show up on time but not before. And if you are 15+ min. late I've seen couples turned away. Lunch is a set price which was $55 a few years back. Not sure what it is now. Dinner (Salad, dinner, soda and dessert) runs at a minimum $75 per person. Add drinks, or order the Pre fix option and it can run $140+ per person. If this is dinner and you don't have a room already, you can make it really special by getting one so you can play in the park all day, change for dinner and then not have to drive afterwards.

Take a camera, there are all kinds of incredible original artworks, furniture and rooms to explore. Do not pass up a trip to the restroom. Most of the wait staff has been there at least 10 yrs. and some 20+ and answer most anything you ask. You can stay as long as you like and are never rushed. Plan at least 2 hrs. and it could run 3. You can pause dinner to see fantasmic but the trees block most of the view now. With only 500 members and a small intimate dining room it's truly a Disney fans dream to visit. Have a great time.

Thanks for all the great information. We are very excited about our reservation which is going to be the last night of our trip. I'll definitely be taking many pictures since this will probably be the only time in my life that I'm lucky enough to do this.

My DS ad DH are lucky to be going for dinner on Friday. I believe the food minimum is about $75 per person. Dining at Club 33 includes entrance into the parks for that day, too. In terms of dress, I believe men must wear pants but they can be denim jeans.; no shorts for dinner.

Have a great time!

Danielle

Lunch takes "buffet" to another level. At least it did when we were there about five years ago.

Talking I just went!

My mother-in-law took me to Club 33 on Friday! Lunch was $69 per person. We also had drinks (how many people can say they had alcohol at Disneyland?) and cappuccino. Four people eating lunch racked up a total of about $380, plus tip. Not cheap, definitely, but soooooo good! We all had the Chateaubriand, which was amazing!

The cold buffet included:
Baskets of bread and dishes of dipping oil
Salad
Heirloom tomatoes and mozzarella seasoned with olive oil and basil
Cold cut turkey
Green olives
Roasted asparagus, squash, mushrooms
Pasta salad
Sliced watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melon
Iced shrimp, crab claws and lobster tails
Dessert bar with tiny tarts, pastries and chocolate wonderfulness!

There are French doors around the dining rooms that lead to the balcony and you're welcome to just open them and just walk out there and enjoy Disneyland!
