| Best fried chicken/ribs in DL? So, in your option, where is the best fried chicken and the best ribs in DL? My family loves these and when we go to DW we know right where to go, but since we have not been to dl I need some suggestions. Thanks

| Best ribs are at PCH Grill in the PPH. I do nto recommend Big Thunder as their ribs are not gluten free, hrmph, liars. Lots of people love the fired chicken at Plaza Inn. Few if any other places sell fired chicken other than chicken stirps.

| As I have not eaten ribs at DL, I asked my brother-in-law, who eats them every time he goes. ![]() He recommends Taste Pilot's Grill at DCA and says that the ribs at Big Thunder Ranch were quite tasty as well. ![]()

| It's been a long time since I've eaten there at KBF, but when I did, I had the fried chicken, and I still remember how good it was. I'm glad to see that it's still as good as I remember it. |

| Is there a restaurant outside the gate of Knotts? If it really is the best and is not to far, maybe or last day we could go over for lunch. How far from DL? How far from Long Beach airport?

Disneyland is about 7.5 miles away Long Beach Airport about 20 (both distances dependent on route taken)

| Unless Knotts Berry Farm has changed recently there are several shops outside the park that do NOT require admission. From the front entrance, south, next to Snoopyland, there is an ice cream shop, then a large souvenir shop (I forget the name) that contained many old dolls for years, the chicken eatrie, a candy shop, a berry jam shop a large souvenir shop and a small women's shop all facing Paper St. on the sidewalk which turns into Grand Ave. just north of Crescent. Along the side of the souvenir shop is a walk way which has restrooms and another smaller souvenir shop. This is where the "plaza" water fountain is and where the volcano was. On the opposite side of the street is a combined souvenir and leather shop within a couple hundred yards of Independence Hall, which is free, and just south is the rollercoaster that crosses over Paper St. which runs at an angle from Beach Blvd.,entering Knotts. The entrance to Knotts is actually on Paper St. and not Beach Blvd. The chicken dinner IS very good and reasonably priced. If you are not going into the park you have three hours of free parking in the lot that faces Grand (the street changes names from Paper St. in the middle of the street). The main lot east of Beach requires payment. The three hours is sufficent time to eat and browse the "outside" stores. To the best of my knowledge there is not a fence here and is open to all. The entrance sets back from Paper St. and the exit to the park is on the south side of the entrance. If you recall the cross walks from the parking lots across Paper St. has the old type sitgnal light on a stand with an employee directing traffic. Paper/Grand is a one way street which you must enter going south on Beach Blvd. from La Palma. Make a left (east) on Crescent and almost immediately turn left into the parking lot which is on the north side of Crescent. | I agree with the best Chicken being at Mrs. Knott's. And the Boysenberry pie is wonderful! At Disneyland we like the Chicken Dinner at The Plaza Inn. They use to have some good chicken at French Market but I don't think they have it anymore since the menu changes. As for Ribs I like ones at Taste Pilots Grill. Have fun eating!
