I swear I read the other day in one of my email updates from one Disney blog or site or something that Disneyland is now accepting reservations via email? But now I can't find it.
Was I dreaming (huge possibility, my dreams have been EXTREMELY REAL these days)?
I used the email reservation system for the first time last night. I sent a request at 7 p.m., got an acknowledgement immediately and received a confirmation number within 15 minutes of providing some additional information.
I am so used to the ease of making online ADRs at WDW that I was prepared to really dislike this. While not nearly as convenient at the ADR system it wasn't bad and I was amazed at how quickly they got back to me - though that could be because there aren't many people using the system.
For someone who visits DLR weekly and doesn't care for quick service meals this is pretty . I'm not sure if I'd feel the same way if I had to make multiple reservations for an extended trip.
Oh - one more thing - they referred to it as a 'reservation' versus the previous terminology 'priority seating'. Don't know if it will make any difference, but it sounds like an improvement .
I wonder if I should call with allergy concerns or if email would be better? My neice has a shopping list of allergies (I swear they're going to add water to the list... kid can't eat anything without it making her sick it seems!). I know that we fudge it a lot when we have to, but if they have any good tasting alternatives...
