We will be at Disneyland for Christmas this year and I would really like to go to the Napa Rose on Christmas Day. I have heard it is expensive but I am looking for something special for Christmas Dinner. It also would be our splurge because I think we are going to say at a place that has a kitchen and plan to cook most of our meals. My question is just how expensive is expensive? We are a family of 4 and the kids will be 19 and 17 so they eat adult servings. They are foodies like my husband and I and appreciate fine foods. Is there a menu I could look at? Has anyone ever eaten there for Christmas day?
We ate there for Christmas Day dinner for exactly the reasons you said, we wanted to splurge and have something special. I can honestly say I will not eat there again in a hurry. It was not a good meal and we were hugely disappointed by it.
It was a set menu with just two choices per course and one of those courses did not have a vegetarian option, which shocked me. Neither of us thought the food was that great, which was a huge disappointment, having eaten there twice before and never having had such a problem.
In all honesty, if I was there for Christmas again, I would go for either Carthay Circle or Steakhouse 55 for Christmas Day, as our meals there were 100 times better.

Maybe eat at Napa Rose during another day then and not ON Christmas day because the regular menu has a nice selection of options (in my opinion). We like the atmosphere there and the food is good, it's a nice experience.
We haven't done the chef's table there but i've heard it's really a special experience.
We had lunch at Carthay Circle when it opened and i was really impressed with the quality of the food and the restaurant itself is quite beautiful. Again, if you're eating there on a holiday you might run into a problem with that price fixe menu. The DL dining line should be able to tell you when you call for your reservations, or you could call the restaurant directly or email Disneyland dining (dine@Disneyland.com)
