I saw on the menu that Trader Sam's does offer food, but i didn't see a kids menu. Are children not allowed in Trader Sam's because it's technically a bar?
the food at trader same is awesome and so is the whole environment. Kids can go in but only up till about 8pm then it turns into more of a bar atmosphere. The food is fantastic and the drinks are even better but it's small so it's not unusual to have to wait to get in b/c of capacity issues. You shouldn't have too much of a problem in the afternoon , just work around the pool crowds. Not sure about the kids menu issue, sorry.
Trader Sams is an awesome little bar/restaurant located at the Disneyland hotel. We loved the atmosphere and the food was good, especially the flatbread pizza. We good our two year old with us last time and she really liked it. Granted we didn't stay late but we had no problem with having her there. We started inside and moved outside with the tiki torches and the band!!! Great time!
