| Just got my flight out upgraded to 1st class!! I'm so relieved! After two weeks of trying (and getting very frustrated with USAirways lack of being able to sit on hold for an agent -- or their goofy chat with an agent system), I finally got through the chat system and got a helpful agent who upgraded my flight out to California to FIRST CLASS!! Phew, I'm so looking forward to sleeping at night again. The thought of being crammed into coach without my DS or DH as a buffer and "calming influence," was making me hyperventilate at night. I'm not a good flyer in any circumstance, but a cross-country one, all by my lonesome, had me breaking out in a cold sweat. All is now smoothed over and I'm first class all the way!! Weeeeeeeee! ![]() Eileen PS - I promise not to let it go to my head. I won't be demanding that people bow down to me or anything... despite what JoanW insists I wear during the flight!

| Good for you! We're doing the 1st class thing too b/c it is a long flight from the East Coast and DH tends to get rammy.

| Nice! It's great to fly first class, particularly on a long flight... and I'm sure it's going to make your flight MUCH more fun... and cushy! Now, go take a nap!

| I got bumped up to first class on a flight from Phila to Houston back in 1989 (long story) and let me tell you.......once you fly first class, it's a bummer to go back to coach! have fun and enjoy!
