| Did I do the right thing??? Ok here I go....We were planning to drive from Albuquerque to DL(at least 10 to 12 hour drive). We would arrive in Anaheim on the evening 26th, stay off site for one night (don't have that reservation yet either!), then check into the DLH on the 27th. Then Southwest had a fare sale ($324.00 rt for both of us) and I couldn't pass that up. So I bought the airline tickets. Now we will be there by noonish, but we won't have a car, and we won't have park tickets until we check in to DLH on the 27th. I am sure that we will book a hotel with a shuttle to Disney so we could just do DTD and maybe catch a movie or something, and we can book Super Shuttle passes to get us from the airport to hotel and back. Did I just totally mess up? I

| As opposed to being on the roads 20 - 24 hours....I wouldn't say you messed up. Don't second guess yourself at this point. Have you thought about checking DLR to see if they have any available rooms on the 26th? Then you could consider taking Disneyland Express instead of Super Shuttle which could make any number of stops.

| : I would fly..with gas at $3+ a gallon(about 2.85 in AZ from friends who just drove in) and the wear and tear on you and the car. Have a leisurly dinner at DTD and shop!

| Flying is the right way to go. As Laura said earlier I would see if you could get a room at the DLR for the 26th. If not see if you can get one across the street on Harbor BLVD for that night. You might want to get on this like now the 26th is coming up fast here. You don't have to go to the parks that day. You can take your time and check out the rest of the resort outside the parks, the hotels and DTD.

| Thanks for the reassurance! I think we did the right thing. We looked into hotels this weekend and will decide & reserve tonight. I have already checked into transportation and I think that it will work out great! Now we don't have to worry about dealing with crazy traffic and getting lost! Thanks for the encouragment!

| Absolutely you did the right thing! And you might want to check into hotels that have shuttles directly from the airport... that would save you a ton on Super Shuttle!
