| the order of proximity is SNA, LGB, ONT, LAX, BUR supershuttle services them all i'm almost positive, but they tend to like to fill up before making a trip and it could be tougher at the smaller airports. i've flown into LGB because of Jet Blue and they do have a flat rate for taking a cab to disneyland (like $35?). there is something called the disneyland express bus which i think is operated by greyhound and operates every half our out of LAX. this would be my choice personalyl but JB doesn't fly into LAX

| ![]() The John Wayne/Orange County airport would be the closest and most convenient when flying into the Disneyland area. It is a lot less crowded thatn LAX, that's for sure! There are shuttles to take you from the airports to the Disneyland Resort as well! ![]() If you check out the sticky topics at the top of the DL: Getting There and Back forum, you will find 2 threads that should be of great help. One is DISNEYLAND AREA TRANSPORTATION INFO. , the other is AIRPORTS SERVING THE AREA . Hope this helps! ![]()

| I was just there a cople weeks ago. flew into JohnWayne/SNA & took the Disneyland Express. It leaves on the quarter hour every half hour. I was the only person on the bus & we arrived to the hotel about 20 minutes later. it was really easy. After you leave baggage claim you walk across the street & its right there.

| Depending on how many people are in your party - a taxi may be cheaper. For us John Wayne is our favorite airport to fly into. Our upcoming trip lands us in Long Beach and we have found that it will cost less for us to take a taxi (for two adults) than for us to take the SuperShuttle. |

| My advice... avoid LAX at all costs if you can. In the last 10 years I've probably been in and out of 200 ariports (Probably more actually) including all the top 20 airports in the world and LAX is by far the worst of them all. It's not too bad if you are just poping in and out quickly (Though nothing is quick at LAX) but if you have a long connection (especially international) it would be the worst airport I have been to). |

| As others have stated, John Wayne is the closest but unfortunately for some of us, LAX ends up being either the cheapest or (in my case) the only option for a direct flight. That being said, we were actually pleasantly surprised by the efficiency and ease of getting around at LAX. I'd heard such horror stories that I'd been exceptionally leery but we had no problems there whatsoever. Joy

We flew out of LAX (direct flight to Paris) in September 2005 (not a busy holiday season or anything) and it was a nightmare. We arrived 3 1/2 hours before our scheduled departure time and barely made it to the plane on time! I've been to many major airports all over the world and none of them was as chaotic as LAX! I'd try to avoid it if possible.
