| Ground transporation from Long Beach Can anyone recommend a car service from Long Beach airport? I'm thinking about taking a town car from the airport instead of using super shuttle. Thanks. Karen |

| I have found that the Yellow Cab service at Long Beach is the fastest/easiest transpo to DLR. If you walk outside the front (it is a small airport, so easy to spot) you will see the parking area across the drop-off/pick-up lanes. There is a little booth there where you pick up taxis. They charge a flat rate of $36 to go to the Anaheim hotels (just make sure that you double check that the driver is only charging you $36 - there is a note inside the taxi that states the flat fee, but there have been times when drivers handed us receipts that said $45+ - of course we didn't pay, but the $36 plus tip). Yellow Cab does not take you back to the airport, however. The flat rate for your return trip will be about $42-46 depending on the cab company. Again, just verify that you will be paying a flat rate and you shouldn't have any discrepancies. You can also check out the LongBeach . gov website under their airport listing for town car recommendations.
