| My Dh and I are flying into John Wayne Airport for the first time (we ususally drive) Does anyone know how much a cab ride is from there to the Disneyland hotel? I am trying to decide if I should use a cab or a private car service. Thanks

| The cab fare from John Wayne airport is $2.65 first 1/5 mile plus $0.50 per additional 1/5 mile. It's just under 14 miles from the airport to Disneyland property. I might have calculated it wrong Supershuttle may be the way to go, if you'd like to go cheaper . . . if you reserve the Shared Ride Van Service, it is $10 per person, up to 7 people in the van. ![]()

| Do you know the name or how to contact that shuttle service? Do I need to make advance reservations? I think driving is much easier! Thanks for all the info so far!

| The number given for that airport Super Shuttle is as follows!! 800-258-3826. They should be able to answer your questions. I think advanced reservations might help. There are also other shuttle services and limos there.

| There's also lots of info (and links to websites) for Disneyland area transportation in this thread: ![]() DISNEYLAND AREA TRANSPORTATION INFO. --- updated 10/07 Also, I do believe that if you want to use Super Shuttle, you do need to reserve your spots. I made reservations with them for my trip this past February about 30 days in advance with no problems.

| Personally, if the super shuttle service from the John Wayne airport is anything like the service from LAX, I would opt for the taxi. It took us forever to get from the airport to the Disneyland Hotel as the driver made MANY stops along the way, some of which were completely out of the way. Joy

| after all of this I got a rental car for $34 for three days. It is well worth it to me to pick the car up on site (enterprise) drive to DL ASAP just to get to our happy place sooner. I never did get an exact price for the shuttle but even if the car cost a bit more it is way worth not dealing with the inconvienence. We leave tom. afternoon, that is if my husband is over the FLU and I dont get it cross your fingers and pray!
