| Best Transport from LAX to GC? Newbie here... What shuttle/towncar/etc. do you recommend taking from LAX to the Grand Californian? And do I pre-book this? Thank you. |

| For shuttles I have taken the Super Shuttle. (But it was from John Wayne Airport not LAX). We had a good time on it thought it took a while. I would prebook it!!! Sorry not familiar with the limos in that area. A taxi would be very expensive and thats a long trip.

| LAX isn't even recommended to fly into for Disney. the order of preferred airports due to proximity are SNA, LGB, ONT, LAX, BUR.

| Duck Addict -- Thanks for the link. Brad -- We would have preferred a different airport, but that was not an option for us. Thanks! Last edited by Flik; 01-18-2008 at 03:05 PM.. |

| First trip to DL? Very cool! We did our first trip in 2005 for the 50th. I debated transportation and decided to rent a mini-van. I thought - oh, my first trip to CA, I want to see it! Guess what we saw - Disneyland! We fell so much in love with everything and didn't want to leave! We've gone only two times since then, but we've actually managed to pull ourselves away from DL and have seen some wonderful sights. I remember looking into shuttles though and they were very reasonable - something like $30 round-trip per person. I would highly recommend arranging this before you arrive. Enjoy your trip! I absolutely DL!

| Our first trip to Disneyland we used one of the shuttle services and I definitely wouldn't recommend this option. With all the multiple stops they made, it took us well over two hours to get from the airport to our hotel. For our second trip, we splurged and booked a limousine instead. It was well worth the extra money in order to insure a lovely, relaxing start to our vacation. Joy

| Check on John Wayne, it is SO MUCH CLOSER, and cheaper to fly into.
