| I was wondering if anyone has ever driven from Canada to DL. We live near Edmonton, Alberta. I have checked and it would take us approx. 25 hours to drive and we could do it over 2 days if we pushed. My question though because it has been a long time since I have crossed the boarder by car is - how long does it take to cross?

| When are you going and which crossing are you planning to use? Border Wait Times My parents drive to Arizona for the winter and I think they cross through Coutts. No major waits or problems, and they're pulling a trailer behind them. I don't honestly think the Prairie crossings are bad - it's Ontario, Quebec and BC that seem to have the longer waits. Last time we crossed just south of Winnipeg (Aug '07) we had less than a 5 minute wait before it was our turn. And yes, if you have good weather and you really push, you should be able to drive to Disneyland in 2 days. We drove to Disneyland from Southern Saskatchewan when I was a kid. We took 3½ days because it was winter and we had some bad weather at Monida Pass and my parents wanted to spend a little time in Vegas.

| We are planning a summer trip, so weather should not be a problem. Our crossing point would indeed be Coutts. I wasn't sure what wait times we would be looking at all - I envisioned a three hour wait which would be terrible!!!

| I couldn't see a 3 hour wait at Coutts unless something weird was happening (border on alert for something). Bookmark that link I gave you and check it before you leave and you'll know what you're up against. Have a great trip!
