Question LAX/ Disneyland Express

Why is LAX not the preferred airport and will I regret the choice of flying in there? Orange County was significantly more expensive for us to fly into and we could get a non stop into LAX. But after reading info I am scared.

Also, any reviews on the Disneyland Express? Is it ok?

I have flown into ONT (Ontario, CA) and LAX when going to DL and had no issues with either airport. In fact, we are flying into LAX on our upcoming trip in April.

LAX is a busy airport in comparison to SNA (Orange County) or Ontario.

We are using the Disneyland Resort Express on our upcoming trip as well and will let you know what we think as we'll be back before you leave on your trip.

The only real disadvantage to flying into and out of LAX is the fact that it is the airport that is the farthest away from the Disneyland area. Personally, I'm not a fan of the shuttle services, including the Disneyland Express which we used on one trip to DLR. Because of all the multiple stops, it ended up taking us over two hours to get to our hotel on arrival and, because we were the first pick-up on the way back, we were picked up way too early to suit me. I consider it well worth the extra money to opt for a taxi or limo instead of the shuttle buses.

We fly into Orange County and take the ME bus and we all feel so relaxed. I don't have to drive! I get to watch the sites as we drive to the resorts, like my kids do! For us, it seems like a quick trip to the resorts and our return trip home is so easy, we check in our bags at the front desk and at least for this last trip, we checked them into the hotel that had a ME Bus that met our schedule needs and went shopping in DTD while waiting for the bus. Worked like a charm for me!
