| Driving from HOJO's to SNA (back!) OK, I'm still trying to figure out how to get my mother from the airport to the hotel. I'm now thinking about just going and getting her. How long will it take to get to the airport and back around 3PM and 5:30AM? How hard is it to find the airport? Thanks! Heather |

| HoJo's to John Wayne is about 14 miles (=/-) The beginning time should not be too bad, but the the return is during commute hours. I would allow 25 minutes to the airport and 45 back to the hotel. (It is almost all freeway all the way).

| I took a shuttle bus that dropped me off next to Tropicana. When we stayed at the Hojos we took a shuttle van that took us right to the hotel and picked us up too. Loved the Hojo, make sure to request a room not facing the highway. I had requested a Disneyland view room. they originally yrteid to give us room on the 2nd floor on the highway side. Then i reminded them that I had payed for a Disney view and we were put on the 7th floor overlooking the Materhorn & Space Mountain

| Thanks for the advice everyone Duck! Coffeechef, I've looked into the shuttles, but worry about sending my mother around on a tour of every resort between the airport and the HOJO's. She'll be a little nervous traveling by herself, so I'm thinking I just need to go get her. Thanks for the tip about the HOJO's rooms. We actually have the king suite booked and it is a disneyland view, so no worries about the highway noise!

| The airport is right off the freeway, so it's not hard to find at all. It's a fairly small airport, so navigating inside is easy too. Enjoy, Melissa

| Thanks Melissa! I am a little worried about getting lost. Everyone says it's easy though. It now looks like I will be picking her up during rush hour though. Her flight lands at 4pm. What time should I leave HOJO's to be there on time? How long do you think it will take us to get back? Thanks again!
