| The Grand Canyon is only an hour or so away from Sedona. If you are able to stop there - even for an afternoon - do it. Sedona is breathtaking! And the last tour we took there, we were told that some of the rocks and spires served as inspiration to Walt Disney for some of the Disney attractions!! I KNEW I loved it there for a good reason! |

| We had to change our plans because DH had to have surgery. So now the trip is put off until next year. I am trying to decide if we should drive one way and fly the other way. Like should we fly to Cali and drive back or drive to Cali and fly back. This is to save time. I will only have 14 days to do this trip since we have decided to do a DCL cruise for our anniversary. What do you think? Also what time of the year is the best time to travel to Vegas and Cali, May, July/August, or September/ October ? Thanks for all your suggestions and advice. Dawn

I'd also vote for October for Disneyland since the holiday overlays for Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain are up. We were there in September and were disappointed that these two favorites of ours were closed due to the completion of the holiday overlays. | |
