LAX to Paradise Pier

We just finished getting all our tickets (flights and park) today to our FIRST trip to Disneyland!! It is also my birthday so we are going to be celebrating that too!!
The last thing we have to do now is how to get from the airport to the hotel. We have been looking at old posts and doing research about the shuttles and buses. We are trying to make a final decision about which to use.
What have you found to be the easiest way from LAX to Paradise Pier? Also how or do we have to reserve ahead of time? We are use to Magical Express in Orlando so this is new to set up our own way to the hotel. Thanks for all the advice.

I would probably go with either the Disneyland Resort Express bus:

One-way ---- Southern California Gray Line - Sightseeing Tours

Round Trip ---- Southern California Gray Line - Sightseeing Tours

It is $20 per person one way, $30 per person round trip.

Another option is Super Shuttle if you would rather have a shared van service rather than the bus . . . SUPERSHUTTLE - Airport Shuttle Transportation | LAX

I like the Disneyland Resort Express too, if you arrive at the right time. We do SuperShuttle if we're arriving early am (which is common for us) or leaving late. The Bus pick ups are farther apart at those times and I don't like to wait. Pricing is similar, and we've had good and bad experiences with both services.

First let me say HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Going to Disneyland for your Birthday will make it a Birthday you'll never forget. I can tell you from personal experience, traveling from Orange county Airport to Paradise Pier Hotel that the Super Shuttle is a great service.
I have used them on 2 or 3 occasions and they have never failed to provide reliable service to and from the hotel. They had the shuttle waiting for us at the Airport at the time of our arrival, and even called us to remind us of the pick up time to return to the airport for departure. You can check out there web site for more info

I hope you have a great time and I wish I was going Tooooooooo!
