Planning a DL vacation is so different from WDW. We are east coasters so WDW is just easier/closer, so that's where we usually go. But we're dying to see Carsland!!
Anyway, WDW is so easy with Magical Express. But DL, we're not staying at one of the resort hotels, so we're on or own for transportation from the airport. We're not renting a car until after DL portion of the trip is over. We'll be within walking distance of the parks, so it seems like a waste of money. But we were thinking of a car service to get us from the airport to our hotel. Worth it?? The prices I've seen are between $95-$120. Should we just take a taxi? We'll be flying into LAX. I looked at the shuttle services, but I'd rather not make other stops...I just want to get to our hotel,...especially after a long day of cross country flying.

I haven't personally used, but have reserved for someone else transportation through Anaheimtowncarservices.com and so far they seem to be quick with response time and detail oriented they respond to my emails right away. Im in planning right now to go to DL and I too have found Execucar.....from Orange County I got a price of $83. We usually do Tiffany in WDW and I just dont know what to do! With the package from Disney Travel, it would only cost $60 for the bus, but I dont know how long it will take to get there on the bus. If I spend the extra $23, then its just the three of us there and back! Sigh I should just go with what Im used to!

We did the shuttle to and from the airport. We stayed at the Fairfield in by the parks. I'd call your hotel and get some recommendations from them. The only problem we has with the shuttle is timing since they drop off many hotels.
