Super Shuttle service???

Can someone tell me exactly how the shared shuttle service works?? Obviously I know we share it with others, but how long do you wait around for it? Are the others in your van usually going to places close to your destination??

I guess I am worried that it will take forever to get to our hotel. We are flying in from NY and after all those hours of travel, we'll just want to get to our hotel as soon as possible. If paying a little more will insure that quickness, we might just do it. A shared van will run us $65. Exclusive service is $107. But there is also a Business Express service for only $72. What's that?? Do you have to be coning to LA on business to qualify?

Thanks in advance!

When we previously lived in Utah, we managed to go to DLR about 4 times where we flew and we always used shared van service (either Super Shuttle or Prime Time). Of those 8 trips (2 each time, one from the airport and one back to the airport) I don't think we shared the van more than a couple of times. We always flew into Long Beach because of the great deals on JetBlue and often as we would be waiting for our luggage at baggage claim, I'd get a call from the driver saying they were in the parking lot. We'd make it out to the parking lot, pile our things in the back and take off. We never had to wait for anyone. For those few times that we did have to share, it would only be with one other person who was either being dropped off at their home, which didn't take us more than 10 minutes out of the way, or at another Disney area hotel. Our tranfers never took more than 40 minutes, again, from Long Beach. If you fly into LAX it would take a little longer.

I took the Super Shuttle in Sept of 2011. I would say it took about 45 minutes to get to my hotel with stops at other passengers hotel. It was a bit crowded in the van, but all in all, it went smoothly enough.
