| My birthday and Disneyland I'm sort of embarassed to ask this... But, my DH, DD and I will be at Disneyland just days after my 40th birthday. We didn't plan the trip as a birthday celebration. And my DH isn't a great holiday/birthday planner, if you know what I mean. I am just wondering if there is something special (but not too "out there," as I am kinda shy and get embarassed easily ) I should look for or do. We are staying at the DLH. Should I tell them it is my birthday week? What would happen if I did? TIA for any thoughts! |

| Re: My birthday and Disneyland what's given out at guest relations is a sticker, but the hotels should have actual buttons. whether a non-resort guest is able to go to the hotel and request a button is debateable, but i believe i've heard it's been done before |

Perhaps things have changed, but when we went, a button was presented. |

Why we received a button and not a sticker is beyond me. We asked for a birthday "medallion" and he rumaged around at the desk, appologized because he had to go to the back to retrieve, and when he came back he had a box in his hand, and the birthday button in the other. Maybe he had some in the back, and felt bad because he kept us waiting??? Oh well, must have been our lucky day, eh? |
