Questions about Mickey\'s Halloween Treat in DCA 2006

I finally got all of the dates and info for Mickey's Halloween Treat in DCA this year. The dates are below. My question is, is Halloween itself packed with people? Or is it better to go on one of the other days? Is this party worth going to? Are the characters dressed up for Halloween? Are they dressed up during the day?

My daughter's birthday is on Halloween. So, we will be at DL celebrating her big day. Will this be the icing on the cake?

The dates and times are:
October 26, 30 and 31 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
October 13, 20, 22, 27, 29 from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale to the general public July 1 for $24 per guest.

AP may purchase tickets for $19 per guest through the day before your date of choice.

Disney Visa cardholders may purchase tickets for $19 through July 15.

Day of event tickets are $29.

Any advice you have will be appreciated!

Thanks,

Laura

Re: Questions about Mickey\'s Halloween Treat in DCA 2006

I attended on a Saturday evening last year and had a great time. I am not sure how many tickets they are selling this year, so it is hard to assess what the crowds will be like. The characters were dressed up for Halloween and there were Trick-or-Treat stations all around. It was a great deal and we had a great time. Most of the attractions were basically a walk-on also. We are all going back this year and taking more people! I say go for it!

Re: Questions about Mickey\'s Halloween Treat in DCA 2006

I haven't been to the Halloween treat but the one year that we were at DCA it was not busy and the Characters were dressed up all day... The kids had a great time! I would ask your daughter what she wants to do! I think a big party for Halloween would be great fun!

We got our tickets for Halloween to MHT. I think we will have a great time. It is all a surprise for our daughter. I will be sure to take costumes and such for the big day.
