| T-shirt for Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour - Girls Only Trip Okay, I've been noodling around with a graphic for a t-shirt for the WIWF tour.... I've done some research and they use that famous image of Walt walking out of the castle with his hands in his pockets. (you can see it here: Walt's Magic Kingdom ) The colors of the name tags and other items from the tour are crimson and gold (at least from 2005 -- shown here: www.colddeadfish.net/images/WWFTour/wwf03.jpg -- if anyone has seen anything more recent, please let me know.) I also thought about getting an image of the lamp in the firehouse window... What do you think? Would you like a PassPorter name badge to be part of the image -- I could do it so that we each have our screen name and our real names on it... Now, I need some ideas for the text on the shirt. "PassPorters Walk in Walt's Footsteps" "We're Walking in Walt's Footsteps." hmmm... need help. I think it would be funny if the back of the shirt said something like "This poor tour guide didn't know what they were in for..." Please help with ideas! Eileen (BTW, if you're interested in wearing a matching shirt for the tour, just PM me with your email address and home mailing address.) Last edited by Caldercup; 02-08-2007 at 03:10 PM.. |

You just get a shirt to me (or tell me what type and size to get) and I will iron it on for ya . . . Also, Eileen (and everyone else) . . . I was going to suggest using DARK t-shirt transfers for the design. In my experience using the light fabric transfers, they have a HUGE tendency to crack and discolor after the first time you wash them. The dark fabric transfers are much more heavy duty, IMO, and hold up a lot better. The color of the designs stand out a lot more too on those. They are plain white once ironed on, instead of clear . . . and instead of printing the design in reverse, you print it just like you would on normal paper, peel off the paper backing, place it where you want it, cover it with a piece of tissue paper and iron it on. I do ALL of my homemade stuff for concerts with the dark fabric transfers and have only had one discolor once . . . and that was only because there was quite a bit of white in the design . . . and the color bled a bit into the white and made little orange patches. Just my .02

I am not even sure If my printer would work with transfer paper.
