Help...Am I crazy

My family and I (DH and DD) are thinking of going to DL for a day or two. We are in Las Vegas and haven't even thought of this untill this very moment. Been to WDW a bunch but don't know about DL.

So...is it insane to think to go before the end of March (isn't it spring break)? If so, what day/s would be best? DD is only 5 so getting on the coasters isn't a HUGE issue, just want to see the park, see some old friends (Mickey and Minnie) and enjoy a little Disney Magic.

Any help would be great.

thanks

jodie

I am not clear as to when you would be going...but if you keep it to a weekday visit, things should be fine (unless you do happen to go during spring break). Have fun!

We are open to any time before end of March (our family is on an extended vacation for a year). I am not sure when spring break starts or ends.

I would go. We went out to visit family in Phoenix, and DL is only 5 hours away, I'm so glad we went, the family moved. That is only 3 hours if I'm correct, and you've got to go. GO FOR IT.

It's not a bad thing to do... but be prepared, it is VERY different than WDW! DH and I (and our kids) grew up in SoCal and went to DL MANY times... WDW was a culture shock for us. As long as you look at it as a completely different park, you'll love it. If you expect MK from WDW, it's just very different... but wonderful!

I say "go for it!"

PS - how did you manage extended vacation for a year?

PS - how did you manage extended vacation for a year?

We decided to give it all up, the CC, the cars, the house, the jobs. It all came together in an RV. It's what we are doing for now.

Thanks for all the help as far as DL.
