| Something I thought I would share! My mom sent me a box full of things from my late Granny's house . . . old letters and cards I had written and sent her through the years, old pictures, etc. There was one thing in there that she stuck a post-it on and wrote "I found this in Granny's drawer. I am really surprised she held on to something like this but KNEW you would appreciate it." It's a park brochure, parking lot map, ticket price list and 2 tickets from Disneyland . . . from 1983. It was my Granny's first trip to Disneyland and I remember the trip vividly. I was almost 7 years old . . . and I lost my visor while riding Peter Pan's Flight in the flight over London section and was pretty much convinced that London had eaten my favorite visor and I would never get it back. I was so excited to see this stuff, I can't even TELL you. Fantasyland had JUST reopened after getting the facelift to it's current "Bavarian Village" look . . . and BOY was it CHEAP! ![]() Click on the pics to see them much larger. I put them in as thumbnails since I scanned them large in order to be able to read them. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Wowweee! My very first trip to Disneyland was also in 1983. Thanks for sharing the items--I don't remember seeing the items then, but I do remember the park ticket!

| I remember the tickets booths being set up like that. Ah, the good old (and cheap) days.
