| DH and I were talking this evening about doing the Walk in Walts Footsteps tour at DL. Has anyone done the tour or know anyone who has? Is it worth the money? I am a huge history buff where Disney is concerned and DH thinks it would be fun for me |

| I went on it in February. I was surprised at how much of what they tell you I already knew. That said it was a fun tour and I did learn a few things I didn't already know. You get a peak in to Club 33 and you also get to listen to Walt himself as you're wearing headsets and the tourguide augments what s/he tells you with audio clips of Walt talking about whatever the subject is. The included lunch is tastey and you get a special pin as souviner. I say if you have the time and inclination go for it. |

| I cannot comment on this one, but we did consider doing it on our recent trip. However, in the end -- we chose the Segway tour at DCA. My Dh (and me, too!) has a huge thing for Segways, and since we had done the one at Epcot -- he was eager to have a go at it again in Cali! I say book it -- you will likely learn little factoids/tidbits that you did not know, and you will have the opportunity to pick the brain of the tour guide, too. Have fun, and let us know what you decide! |

| We did it in February and absolutely loved it! I wrote about it in detail in my TR: Jeffrey made me do it, but it’s almost free for our three!! (Please don't read it, if you don't want any spoilers)

| Thank you so much for the link to your TR Dyan. Its funny you sent it because I had started reading it last week unprovoked and then you replied to my post so DH and I sat down and read your WHOLE TR Thanksgiving night! I think based on everything I've read and from your family's experience firsthand we're going to do it, even my mom sounds interested now! So thank you so much to everyone who has given me advice and if anyone else has any I am still open to it! |

| We thoroughly enjoyed the Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour and I believe there is also a special perk attached to it although I'm not certain which one. I do remember that with the Welcome to Disneyland tour, which I heartily recommend to anyone not familiar with either of the DLR parks, includes your choice of reserved seating for either the DL parade or a showing of the Aladdin show. | You do a fair amount of walking because you visit various places in the DL park but you're not wandering around aimlessly and you're with a guide who really knows the park so you don't end up taking the long way around to your next stop. |

| Thank you very much. Me and my DD, 12, are big Disney history buffs, so we will make sure he sucks it up! |
