Pin Trading

When we were last at WDW, DD was 6 1/2 and loved trading pins.
We're headed to DLR next month -- is it as big a thing there, too?
Do they have the same system where CM with certain lanyards only trade with kids?

Yes. You can trade up to 2 pins with a CM and the CM's with the teal lanyards will only trade with kids. Same rules and just as big.

Since I haven't been to WDW yet, I don't know if they do the same thing. But, at DL, some of the CM's will put their pins on backwards (so you cannot see which pin it is, only see the fasterner), and they call it a mystery pin.

My kids love that! It is like a total new game. A few times now, the mystery pin has been one of the CM hidden mickey pins. My kids are always on the hunt for those. Plus, if the mystery pin is one that they do not want, they just find another CM to trade it away.

Hope that helps!

Be careful getting pins off ebay...many are scrappers/counterfeit/unofficial
