Annual Passholders Payment Option

A really quick question for all of you who hold annual passes to DL/CA. Have you taken advantage of the new option Disney has given in renewing your passes? Monthly payments instead of paying a lump sum all at once. The DW and I will be going up to DL this coming Sat, the 31st, and taking the post cards they sent announcing this new option. We like the idea and have been using this same sort of plan when dealing with our Sea World annual passes. We'll let you all know how it goes.

We are LOVING the payment option! We decided as soon as we moved back to Southern California that was how we were going to get our passes. With the monthly payment plan we were able to afford to go Premium - which is awesome!

No more parking fees, 10% discounts on purchases and 15% discount on food, to name a few advantages besides the monthly payments. We've been Premium Passholders for the past 5 years now.

If they did that with Florida we would upgrade while we are down there next month. We have 8 day tickets right now.

I had asked Mark Jones, one of the VP's for Customer Relations back in WDW about that and he told me that DLR was doing it because they, we, relied heavily on local 'guests' more than the tourist trade while at WDW it was the other way around. He told me that almost 70% of guests who visit WDW are either from out of the country or live over 500 miles away while most of those who visit DLR live in the Southern California area, less than 200 miles away.

I wish this option was available to all annual pass holders and not just CA residents.
