DLR Photopass Q

I thought the Photopass CDs cost less from DLR than from WDW.
Has anyone bought one lately?
I just entered my photopass card # and the price is $130 for the CD. Yikes! We used every photopass photographer we saw and still have less than 40 pictures, so I'm not liking this price one bit.

SPOKE TOO SOON! I signed out, and when I went back in I got a $59.95 price. Much better. Guess it just took a while for the card number to overrride the default price.

The $59.95 is the right price - glad it finally showed up.

I still need to order mine too!
Like you, we got very few pictures. I'm disappointed at the lack of photographers/characters we saw in 3 days.

I was also very disappointed with the lack of Disney Photogs around. We only ended up with 18 pictures.

And while we're on the subject of photopass... is it me or is the quality of the website pictures lower than it used to be? On many of ours, I can't even tell the expression on DD's face. (Is it a smile or a grimace?) I don't remember having that problem with our photopass experience a couple of years ago. Those were really clear.

Piggybacking onto this topic, is there any way to pre-order the PhotoPass CD for Disneyland at this price? Or does the price pop up only after you enter Disneyland-specific PhotoPass card numbers?

Thanks to anyone who can help- I'm trying to crunch the numbers on a surprise mother-daughter trip in October!

If you had a choice, which would you do - Photopass at DL or WDW?

We may be squeezing in trips to both this year and have been thinking about Photopass.

Thanks!

I would get the WDW PhotoPass CD, myself.

On my DL trips, I never felt that I would have enough pictures taken to justify the cost of the CD. I usually only ended up purchasing maybe one of the photos.

On my last trip to WDW, we only had 100 some photos taken, but we enhanced them and ended up with over 300 or something. I thought that was a better deal, for us anyway.
