Carnation Cafe is a nice small out door restaurant located about midway down Main Street. The prices are good and the food is also good. It is also fun to watch the other guests go about their way up and down Main Street while you enjoy your meal. We eat breakfast there a lot of the time and have become friendly with one of the CM waiters there, BOB. Hope you enjoy tour stay and BTW, we have stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and just loved it each time, in fact we will be staying there for New Years Eve this year.

Hey Kerri Borg... just a word of warning that some of the advice here is based upon the party at WDW not DCA/DLR. In Florida, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is held at the Magic Kingdom whereas the Mickey's Trick or Treat Party (TOT) in SoCal has the party at DCA. So anyone talking about riding Peter Pan is at the WDW party. Somethings are the same - some not. Just don't want you to get your hopes up about something that doesn't happen at DCA. Unfortunately, I can't offer any advice as I will be attending my first TOT party this October 9th. I can't wait!

Went to TOT party on 10/9 We had a great time. Did some trick or treating and rode lots of attractions. It was not crowded. Most everything was a walk on to 5 minute wait. I don't know if the 5000 tickets were sold out for this night or not. We rode TSMM, ToT, Cal. Screaming several times. Also rode Soaring and some of the lesser rides on the pier. There were lots of Character Greets and there were lines for these. The longest I saw was for Mickey /Minnie together in their Halloween outfits. Did not see alot of villians as I had been hoping to see. Lots of younger kids at the Dance parties. Candy was OK -not enough chocolate in my opinion. There were also some healthier options - the apple slices were a nice choice. Now DL was crazy the same night. Everyone was kicked out of DCA at 6:30 and they ended up closing DL to new entries around 9:00 pm. So if you are heading to DL/DCA and not going to a TOT party- expect crowds at DL!

Just got back will do a trip report here later today....but I wanted to post about the Trick or Treat and give some advice. It was a crowded night when we went, but if we were to do it again: 1. Hit the rides first, everybody wants to trick or treat first thing (see below). 2. Trick or Treat later in the night the treat stations lines are empty! 3. There is a large station to top your bag off before you leave the park that night!!! So even if you have no candy (from doing the rides) you can get your bag full then. 4. Make sure to catch the parade its fun.
