Question Extra Magic Hours found!

Where do you find the EMH for DL & DCA? I know I've found them on-line before, but it escapes me today. I'm looking for Sept. 24-26. Thanks!
Ginger

Okay, I found the answer! At Disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland etc., when you get the calendar with the park hours, click on the individual day and the Magic Morning Hours show up (no evening EMHs when I'll be there).
Thanks anyway!

Remember the early entry applies to some ticket packages and some DL resort packages. (Bonus parkhoppers, some AAA and DL resort packages that I know of.)
And they are only a couple days a week

It is simple, MM is on S and T days. I have mine because I booked the DHL. Make sure you have your room key if staying onsite.

The "Magic Hours" at DL is not the same as WDW . . . it is for certain tickets and certain packages only as well as DLR hotel guests. There are also no evening hours, just morning.

It is only at Disneyland Park and only certain attractions in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland are open . . . the rest of the park will open at regular time.

Magic Mornings during your trip will be on Thursday the 24th and Saturday the 26th.

If you have a vacation package, you are only eligible for one early entry. If you are staying at a resort hotel, you can use it whenever they have it available. It is never for California Adventure, only for Disneyland.

Just an FYI, although California Adventure does not have an Magic Morning, we entered through the separate entrance of the Grand Californian hotel, were able to enter the park and ride Soarin' Over California before the park opened.

But to enter through the DGC gate you must present a room key card from one of the three resort hotels now. This applies to any time of day or evening. We have watched the CM's ask everyone for these keys. You must have one for the entire party. This is not a new policy but one that has been in place from day one but until resently has not been enforced as much as it is now.

We were just there last week (9/13 - 9/16) and entered DCA twice a day through the separate entrance and not once were we asked to show our room keys.

We're just the 'unlucky' few I guess then cause it has never failed with us.

I think this is one of those "your mileage may vary" things. We've had three different things happen at the "secret gate" (as we like to call it).

1. No one's checked anything.
2. Everyone's been checked for Resort Room Keys.
3. Everyone was checked for Grand Californian Keys, and those with Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier Keys were turned away with the general public. This only happened one time, and it was a very crowded holiday period.

So it might just depend on who's working the turnstiles.

You know, come to think about it the #3 scenario happened to us a few New Years Eves ago and we went to the DCA front desk and complained because we were staying at the Disneyland Hotel. They sent someone back with us and informed the gate CM's that ALL 'on property guests' had equal access to that gate. The front office CM even had a security guard with her who politely informed the CM that he would admit us without fail. I hated to get the guy into trouble but we had been going and coming through that gate for 2 days before this happened without problems.

Guests are informed that they can use the DCA entrance from GCH. You are not getting the CM in trouble as he got himself in that spot. It might have been his managers that told him the wrong thing to do but it needed to be noted so that the hotels were not telling guests one thing then having the guests be told another thing.

I have gotten in without checking and they say it depends on many factors. The limits are to make it a perk and special treat for hotel guests. Always plan to have your room key handy.
