| Pirates of the Caribbean <font color="red"> </font> Has anyone been on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride since they have added Jack Sparrow? If yes, do you think they did the right thing in making changes? This is my favoriate ride! It's a family tradition that the last ride we go on before we leave for home is Pirates. | Re: Pirates of the Caribbean We got to ride it one night in late June -- I think the third day it was reopened -- and we both loved it! The Jack Sparrow audio-animatronics are fantastic, and there's an appearance by Davy Jones that you WON'T miss! [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] It was really, really cool! By the way, the first morning we were there, the line for Pirates before rope-drop was all the way down Main Street. As in, all the way to City Hall. No kidding. Later in the day, every time we checked the queue, it was 2-3 hours. We got in line that evening when it was only 20 minutes, and it was well worth our wait. Not sure I'd say the same if I'd waited 2-3 hours!! [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]     |
