President's Week ???

G'Day .. we're planning a trip to Disneyland then on to Florida for a Disney Cruise arriving in mid-February. I've just received my copy of the DLR PassPorter and it shows a pretty sharp spike in crowd numbers around mid-February listed as President's Week. Has anyone experienced what the crowds are like during that week and would we be better off postponing for a week. Ta.

Any week that the kids have days off from school tend to be more crowded. My friends went that week last year and it was nothing compared to the week of Easter or crowds in the summer. Since you are already past the 6 month mark, I would not change it. I don't think you will have to worry about overwhelming crowds.

As a matter of fact, my dd doesn't even get President's Day off this year!!

This is one of our favorite times to go to Disneyland however, we time it so that we are there the weekend before Pres weekend and leave on the Friday of Pres weekend. By Thursday of before Pres weekend the parks start getting pretty full.

In 2006, we went during Preisdent's week and it was crowded but not unmanageable. The only time we really noticed the crowds were at Space Mountain and that was on Friday.

We went the Friday before the 3 day weekend 2 years ago, and it was one of the quietest days we've ever spent there. I'm sure the weekend was busy, but that Friday was great!

We'll be there at the same time! We will be arriving the Friday evening prior to Presidents' Day and will depart the following Saturday! I haven't been to DL since a day trip in March 1988. Can't wait for DH & DS to experience it!
