Driving from DL to Vegas

We've never been to DL but this spring my Mom and I are plnning a trip to DL/Vegas. I just checked train & bus schedules but it looks so confusing. Has anyone ever done the drive?

Thanks for all of your help, I have a ton of other questions!

Las Vegas is 225 miles from Anaheim. I have not driven it myself, but I have heard it is a fairly easy drive.

Did it a few years ago - it is an easy drive through the desert. Fill up the tank!

It's a clear shot on great highways thru the desert. With speed limits what they are, it usually takes about 5-1/2 to 6 hours or so.

We drove it last year and I think it took about four and a half hours to get to Los Angeles. We went on to San Diego and I think that took about six hours. Mind you, we did stop the night at Lake Havasu City and drive the way from there. We enjoyed the drive - it was pretty easy with some spectacular scenery in the Mojave Desert on the way.
