| Hi, I just introduced myself on the Porch and have been reading lots of old Posts for info but can't find anything about this. Does anyone know if the Pirates of the Caribbean Nintendo DS game is still working at the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland? Does anyone know what I mean? It's where you bring your hand-held Nintendo (or in my case, my 9 & 10 yr.old sons do) and you have to find so-called hot-spots that are hidden around the exterior of the ride that will interact with your game. It started at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland in May of this year and I'm wondering if it's still going on before I surprise my sons with a copy of the game before our trip next Sunday. Also, has anybody done it? Do these hotspots actually work? I don't want to spend a lot of time with them pointing these machines at shrubs and various others things to no avail. Help? Thank you! |

| I did some searching and could not find anything that would answer your question. Perhaps a call to Guest Relations would be the way to get your answer? Try calling (714) 781-7290. Hope this helps!

| I am not sure about Disneyland but we did that at WDW. I thought it was ending in Sept. though. That's what we were told. A cast member at the ride helped my son find the spots to get the codes so they would probably know if it was still going on or not! 2 of the 3 hot spots worked for my son and they were marked with big iron x's at 3 different spots on the building. He liked the codes he got from it.

| Thank you so much for your help! I will definitely call Guest Relations. I had originally heard it ended on Labor Day Weekend but then when we got our package from Disney with our passes, reservation, free lanyard and pin coupon etc. we received a flyer about the POTC Nintendo Game hotspots. I was so surprised. I went to the website it directed me to for directions: atworldsendgame.com/treasure It says "For a Limited Time Only." But doesn't say for how long...... But they wouldn't have sent us the flyer if it wasn't going on during our stay, right? And thanks for letting me know that the one at WDW worked,,,or at least 2 out of 3 did. What a great community this is. |

| I just got a flyer for this in our package deal. Looks like fun. Its a download thing and you have to bring your Nintendo DS and your copy of the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End DS game. It says to make sure you have at least played the first level of the game up to the first checkpoint (jolly roger lag) and have created a saved game. The place in the park where you play this is at the POTC ride. It has directions on how to download etc. This is not something we will be doing, first of all because we don't have the game. Anyways it sounds like fun if that's what you are into. The flyer says if you want additonal information to go to Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End DS Game and Disney Parks | Where Dreams Come True. Hope that helps
