| Adventures By Disney: Backstage Magic (Hollywood & Anaheim) - Apr 22-27 It looks as if DH and I will be participating in the first Adventures by Disney: Backstage Magic tour this April! We had originally scheduled the May 6-11 tour to coincide with the Disney Podcast Network's Westfest (fan event similar to Mousefest) the previous weekend - but got the news last Friday that AbD was cancelling that session.  After some back & forthing with our TA (a big thank you to Liz at Dream Come True Vacations!) we got rescheduled with AbD picking up any flight change fees. We're still pretty bummed that we're going to miss out on the Westfest activities - we even had a good line on a visit to Club 33 with one of the festers! - but are working on putting our happy face back on for the tour. We're also doing a pre-visit to Disneyland (3 nights at the Hojo) as well - flying in Sat morning, renting a car, then heading back to LAX Tuesday morning to meet up with the AbD folks. We'll definitely take lots of notes for our trip report - as the tour is advertised as including the following special activities : • Backstage at Jimmy Kimmel Live • Tour of The Jim Henson Company Studio • Privately guided visits to Walt Disney Imagineering and The Walt Disney Studios • Three days at Disney's Grand Californian® Hotel & Spa • Behind-the-scenes tour of the Disneyland® Park • VIP experience at the Disneyland® Park and Disney's California Adventure™ Park ------------ I think at least 1 other PassPorter will be on this tour - anyone care to speak up?
