| Disney's Character Warehouse in Fullerton, CA Hi, I was reading somewhere that there is a Character Warehouse Outlet in Fullerton, CA. Does anyone know how far that is from DL and how much a taxi would cost to get there. If anyone's been there, is it worth going? Thanks, Kim

| We went on our visit to Disneyland in 2006 and we didn't find the stock there that worthwhile, but having said that, we had already visited the one in Vegas and got some great finds there, including an embroidered DL sweatshirt featuring the Pooh characters. We find it's just luck whether they've got in what you like when you visit. We didn't take a taxi when we visited, as we had a rental car, so I can't help with that and I honestly don't recall how far away it was, as we stopped off there while we were visiting various shopping malls in the area.

| It is about 3-5 miles from the main gate, and I always find great stuff when I go there! Although, I think the deals used to be better a few years ago than they are now. It is kind of our tradition to hit the outlet before our first day at the parks. Last time we went, my DSis got a Space Mountain t-shirt for $4.99 - and we later saw the same shirt in DLR for $30!!! ![]() |

| You can find some really good deals there, but it's a hit or miss kind of place. Sometimes you find things you really like, and sometimes you walk out wondering why you visited the store. Just don't expect the store to be Disney-like in the decor becuase this store is basically a big room with shelves alongside the walls holding toys and other souveniers, and racks of shirts, sweaters, and other clothing. They even have a small rack of pins. Once you get over the shock of how "Un-Disney" the store looks, you might appreciate how much you can save on some items!

| We went there, and YES, YES, YES it is so worth it. Go on the first day, go before you go to the resort, you will save 80% off of the prices at the park. It is about 15 to 20 minutes. I don't know how much it would cost for a taxi, but when we went we did see one sitting outside waiting on someone. But I was in shock, it is nice stuff cheap.

| We find stuff every time we go...we might not find what we're looking for, but we do find stuff to buy. If you purchase, I think it's over $100, you get a discount card for for 10%...and if you spend over $200 you get one for 20%...I have the 20% (like I said, we always find something) I got it last year and it's good until 2011. That discount is on top of the already discounted prices also!!!

| We always hit the warehouse up before ending our trip, we get an idea of what we want and check and see if we can find better deals at the warehouse before spending the full price at the resorts or parks.
