Exclamation What are your must do's in DL

I haven't been to DL since pre California adventure so I know things have changed. WHat are the key must do's? We are doing the Aladdin show as I have a little Jasmine but thought I would ask for other ideas.

We are headed the second week of June.

Definitely the Aladdin show from the photos I've seen - I am so sad I missed it last time and won't make that mistake again. : Tower of Terror is going to be a must as well if you like thrill rides.

Since it sounds like you have a little one, I would probably concentrate on the rides in Fantasyland that aren't at WDW - Nemo, Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Storybook Land Canal Boats, Casey Jr. Circus Train and the Tea Cups aren't under a covered area, which was neat. The Winnie the Pooh ride in Critter Country is a whole lot different than the one in WDW, so that's worth seeing. The theming in Toontown is amazing....it's like stepping into a cartoon, the work they put in there is incredible! Tom Sawyer Island - Pirate's Lair was a lot of fun and POTC is so much better than the one in WDW. The parade and the fireworks are also worth seeing. I've also heard good things about Fantasmic!, but it was dark while we were there last month.

As for DCA, Aladdin is awesome! We also had a lot of fun in Disney Animation. Monsters, Inc and 'a bug's land' would also be worth seeing with little ones. The Tortilla Factory and the Bakery Tour were educational, but fun. I would also recommend seeing the Electrical Parade.

Hope this helps!

Cool must do's

since u have a lil one, i think she will love teh alice in wonderland ride. Tea cups are cool too cause they are out in the open.

Small world's entrance is outside as well. i cant speak for California adventure as i have never been but i heard they have tower of terror and a rapids ride.

If u like thrills, Do indiana Jones and Matterhorn bobsleds. not sure your lil can go on those but definately try them if u have someone that can watch her.

i havent been since '99 so there are alot of additions but those are my favs from when i went.

Have fun

If you have a little Jasmine, you HAVE to do the Princess Fantasy Faire...it's where the girls learn how to be princesses (from the Disney princesses) and the boys learn how to be princes!

I think people have covered the DL must do's for a little one - although, I would include Buzz Lightyear's Astroblasters in Tomrrowland. Our then 18-month-old and 4-year old both loved it!

For CA Adventure - be sure to experience Monster's, Inc. and Soarin' Over CA (height requirment of 40"). For adults - Tower of Terror is really well done - great storyline and adrenaline rush! If you all get too hot - head over to the Princess Dot Puddle Park. I had a great time playing here with our little ones. We all ended up soaked, but I was dry again in an hour or so. (Changed the kids into extra clothes.)

Have a great time!

California Adventure

Not sure how your DD might take to it but everyone seems to have forgotten Grizzly River Rapids in California Adventure. One place you must SEE TO BELEIVE, take a side trip from CA and go into the lobby of the Grand Californian Resort. Besure to take a camera. The view inside is breathtaking.
