Weather in mid-May?

What is the weather typically like in mid-May? Will it be shorts-wearing weather? And is it warm enough to swim? And how chilly are the evenings?

I am a Texan, and I am used to the heat. But when it's below 60, then it's COLD!

Thanks, in advance!

Can be cool in the morning as morning fog sometimes come in. Should be mid 70-80 in the afternoon, warm enough for a swim. Evening should match morning, if fog in the am, the probably cool/fog in the pm, but if sunny in the am, then the odds are for a nice evening.

Oh, the nights will get a little cooler, around the mid to high 50's in May. To me, that's freezing cold weather! So I wear jeans during the day, and a really light shirt, and I pack a nice warm comfy jacket in my backpack for the night. I'll be there in early May!
