DL July 6th or 7th How Busy ???? About This Page:

I need everyone's help. I just found out my friend and I are going to LA for a convention and we are going to go early and visit Disneyland. How busy will the park be the weekened after July 4th? How hot will it be? LA doesn't have humidity like Orlando, right ? We will probably only have 1 day so even though we are both adults, we are true Disney fans, so if we can only spend 1 day, we should go to DL, not California adventure, right ? OR is CA just as Disney as DL? Could we hit the hightlights at DL and then go to CA in the afternoon? Would Sunday July 6th be busier than Monday July 7th, or are both days just as crazy? Sunday is always busier. (The Monday after a holiday weekend should be smaller crowds.)

It'll be crazy crowded when you're there. A couple of years ago, I went from July 5th through July 7th. My recommedation is to get to DL when it first opens or within 20 minutes of opening. By the time 10:30 am comes, it gets wildly crowded.

By the afternoon when it get's a whole lot warmer and crowded, I escape to DCA and do It's Tough to be a Bug, and catch the Aladdin show and Golden Dreams beacuse all are in comfy AC. So I do suggest that you visit DCA to get a "breather" from the crowds.

As for the weather, tank top and shorts during the day is fine. Bring a jacket for the evenings.

Thanks so much for the information.... I am having a hard time getting all of my info together. last minute trips are GREAT , but I am starting to stress already.
