Odd question... probably with an obvious answer...

Hi! We're AP at WDW and while I know my AP won't give me free admission to DL, however I am curious to know if it might make us eligible for any other perks? Such as discounts on rooms, shopping or dining? Thanks!!

Sorry, no.

Look at the price of a DL AP, though. Something folks with a WDW orientation often forget is that DL is much more generous with AP discounts - just about any meal and some merchandise purchases get an AP discount - even counter service. If you'll be there for a number of days, that just may add up.

Dave is so right. We got an AP for our DLR trip and we were amazed at the discounts we reaped as a result.

If you get the Premium AP, your parking is free in the Mickey and Friends parking structure...I think the daily rate is $11 to park, so that adds up too...it's not an issue if you're lodging on property, though. Self parking is free at each of the Disneyland hotels if you stay there.

We are going for 6 days, and I'm getting a PAP. The discount's will more than make up the extra money I'll spend on it. Especially the merchandise discount.
