| Halloween parties We're going to DL the last week of October, arriving Friday afternoon on the 24th and leaving Halloween morning. Does anyone have a good guess on what nights might be party nights? I've been to MNSSHP at MK and it was a blast. How are the parties at DL different? I haven't been to DL since '92, but was there twice as a child, and they are some of my best family memories. |

| I'd like to know the answer to this as well, as we'll be there from 26 - 29 October this year.

| Mickey's Trick-or-Treat Party – October 3, 10, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30, and 31. i think the way it goes is that it gets more crowded closer to halloween. we went somewhere in the teens...the 19th of something...crowds were light. loved the party last year. its a great way to see DCA with shorter lines and cute costumes all over the place. the longest line was 45 min to get a pic with mickey and minnie in thier halloween costumes. our group was older 50, 45, 20, 20 and 13....so we mostly enjoyed watching other people. i never did eat all my candy....a lot of duplicates....i chose apple slices too many times and got a stomach ache because they were sloshing around but they were refreshing! |

The apples were a nice touch, but my gosh! They were so sour they made our mouths pucker. If you like really sour apples, you will like them. And, keep in mind, the apples go quicker than the candy. We ended up giving away bags of apples to people who hadn't been able to get any. Go to the party, and have a great time!! | |

| The difference between the DL and the WDW halloween parties is that DL hasn't, in the past, had a special parade and there hasn't been fireworks...it also is NOT in the DL (or Magic Kingdom equivalent) Park and so there's no Haunted Mansion...DL also hasn't had the Villan Mix and Mingle show. Both do have trick-or-treating, face painting, dance parties and lots of characters roaming around.

| While the information requested is now posted here, I still suggest you check out the Disneyland site. They have their Halloween link up and it will get you in the mood as well as give you all the info! ![]()
