Halloween 2008

Last year Halloween went up 3rd week of September, this year it's the last week. Of course I planned my trip for the 3rd week. Ok so I miss the HMH (will see it in Dec) but when will the huge pumpkin go up and all the Halloween "stuff?" Will they put it up earlier in the month or is it one big surprise on the opening day?

any info
thanks

When we went right after Labor Day in September, 2006, they were starting to put up the Halloween decorations by the end of our trip. So they were going up around the second week of September. I would say your chances of seeing the decorations are pretty good.

What to expect at Halloween?

I was just going to ask the same myself, what to expect and when to expect Halloween at DL. We'll be there the week of Columbus Day. Given it is mid-Oct., I expect decorations will be up, but just curious.

Also, is it true that they have live people jump out at you in the Haunted Mansion and POtC?

All good stuff to know, especially the jumping out part. Don't think my poor little heart could take that.
