Character Meal Questions

G'Day all,
We'll be staying at the Disneyland Hotel for four nights and have a couple of character meals planned. We're hoping someone might be able to help out with the following:

1. Do you have to have entry into DCA to attend the Ariel's Grotto meal, that is, Should we plan to go to DCA this day or will our Park Hopper tickets allow us to just go in for the meal?

2. The website says that Ariel's closes at 7pm ... This seems rather early for a dinner service. Does this sound right or is this the closing time for DCA???

Any help you could give would be really appreciated. Thanks!

I hope I understand your question correctly. If you have parkhoppers, they will get you into both parks on the same day, no need to choose a park for the day. But you will need to present a valid entry ticket (parkhopper) to get into DCA to go to Ariel's Grotto.

The park hours change according to the season, so during off peak seasons the park closes earlier. Since you didn't mention when you will be visiting it is possible that 7:00 pm is the correct closing time.
