| Does DL have any awesome deals that you can book right now? We did DL in October and leave Friday for WDW. DL is MUCh closer and if we wanted, we could drive. We are thinking about APs amd going 3 or 4 times this next year. Anyways, does DL have any awesome deals like the free dining at WDW or other awesome deals? |

| The only deals i know about right now is the 5 for 3 deal . Which is you pay full price for a package with tickets for three nights and get two nights free. You can find more info about this on the disney site. Dawn

| I just checked on Mousesavers, which is a great resource for discount information: MouseSavers.com - Disneyland Vacation Package Discount For stays through the end of April, you can get adult tickets for the price of kids' tickets. If you stay 4 nights, you can get the fourth night free. For package stays through September, you can get 5 nights for the price of 3 (or two free days on longer stays). This also applies to tickets only -- you can buy a 5-day ticket for the price of a 3-day ticket, or a 6-day ticket for the price of a 4-day. If you think you'll be back several times in the next year, Annual Passes would probably be the better option, but you can price it out. Happy planning, Melissa

| If you are considering annual passes I have done a little homework for you and here is the results as to cost comparing between the 2 different Adult passes. We're local and purchase the Premium as it is a better deal for us. Assuming your next visits would be for 2 days: Premium Annual Pass – Adult $389.00 Free parking, no blackout dates, 10% merchandise discount at select locations throughout the Resort ($10 min purchase), 10-15% dining discount at select Resort restaurants (including DTD but $10 min). At the current admission price of $143.00 for 2-day park Hopper tickets it would take 2.7 visits a year to pay for itself. Deluxe Annual Passport – Adult $269.00 NO free parking, park admission to 315 pre-selected days a year (blackout dates apply), 10% dining discount at select Resort restaurants (does not include DTD but $10 min). Parking can be added at a cost of $59. At the current admission price of $143.00 for 2-day park Hopper tickets it would take 1.9 or 2.3 (with parking) visits a year to pay for itself. Both plans offer special rates at the Resort hotels. In all cases restrictions apply to the discounts and special rates. I hope this will help you in the future. |

| There are ticket and/or package deals going on right now. We love our Premium Annual Passes for DL and go 7-8 times a year (we live 2-4 hours away depending on traffic). You can't beat the discounts, free parking and NO block out dates!

| We live in the oposite direction from DLR than you and our trip is anywhere from 1:15 to 1:30. We too have the Premium Annual Pass and go about the same number of times a year as you. I think if a person is going to go to DLR more than 2 times a year they should think about an annual pass as well. With an annual pass you can also get 'special' rates at the Resort hotels and discounts on gifts and meals. What better 'package' could one ask for? |

| We're 4 hours away and we keep looking at the AP, but never do it. We've only managed to get to DLR twice a year the past few years. The other discounts can help defray the cost, but if we go that often, we'd try to not buy too much (so little savings on merch.) and it's still cheaper to stay at Best Western Park Place than a DLR resort with the discount (so little savings on resort). We'd save some on meals, but I wonder if it's enough. And if we add in the 3rd visit, we've covered the cost of the tickets, but we still have the added expense of the hotel room that we wouldn't have had if we hadn't gone (does that make sense? - it's not a "free" trip by any means). Disneyland is the single reason I would want to live in So Cal. I think I need to do a mock up of savings for a year...

| Heather, as I had shown earlier, even if you purchased the Deluxe pass, you would save a few dollars with just 2 visits a year plus on top of that any purchases you might make during those 2 visits. Of course you know better than anyone what would be best for your budget. With us only 93 miles away and going at least once a month, you can see why we went with the Premium pass. When we stay on property we only use DVC points, the dollar value is too steap for us so we stay either at the Super 8 at 415 W. Katella Ave or the Ramada Inn Maingate. |
