| Okay, I need help here for my plans in October. My girlfriend and I are going to DL/CA for the first time without our kids. Her kids complain about having to go to DL and mine are tired of going every year so we said fine stay home, we are going without you! So we are going 10/13 - 20th. We are going to be there for 5 days park hopper. We want to do some tours of the parks and we wanted to do some extra experiences. What tours are the best and what about extra magical expeiences? Any ideas for me you guys? I hope that the trick or treat party will be going on when we are there but not sure what the dates are for it. Any help you may have for me I would really appreciate it!

| Here;s a list of tours currently available at the DLR. Disneyland Resort | Tour Listing I checked on Halloween on the Disney site, and it says to "Check back fall of 2009" for details. You might try calling Disneyland Guest Services at (714) 781-4565. Happy planning!

| IF you are daring do the Segway. The best is the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour as it in general covers a lot of stuff that the average tourist would not get to see. Halloween has a great tour also and there is a great Christmas tour but those will be a wait and see type of thing. D23 and other sites will be offering in the future backstage tours. The Welcome tour is nice for beginners and gives you them FP but with proper planning you can do with out those. VIP is great but you need to work with the person leading your group and is expensive. The magic one is cute and fun but aimed for families and kids.

| We are going to do the Walk in Walts footsteps tour and if we can find out about any D23 tours going on while we are there, I'd love to snag one of their tours. I am keeping an eye out for the Halloween tour and the trick or treat party. Thanks, I think I have my idea for what to plan for this trip! I am also thinking of doing the special seating for the Fantasmic show....anyone done that before? If so was it worth the money?

| it costs per person about the same as a steak dinner with drink at Plaza Inn; Chedarburger, onion rings and drink at Taste Pilot's Grill; hot dog, chips and drink at Coke Corner/Casey's; a Matterhorn sundae with glass of water and tip; popcorn; and a Dole whip. That is approximate as I would have to not eat for 24 hours and quintuple my thyroid medicine and even then there is no way I could heat a steak, two scoops of mashed potatos, three drinks and a glass of water, fries, chips, a hot dog, a cheddar burger, a dole whip and the 4 scoops of ice cream. We do not always go the cheap avenue of life so I recommend this to everyone except the very cheap. You would save the trouble of saving a spot and the pushing and shoving and possibility of being stepped on. You would be in a nice wooden folding chair instead of on the ground. You would get service and drinks with great desserts. Spoiled with a fancy evening snack. I am thinking of doing this for my birthday but would not do this as I could get me a lot more food and am not a Fantasmic fan. It is a neurovariant or other problem that makes the show uncomfortable for me to set through, do not know why so I skip it usually. I do say that if you have money to blow and want a special treat then do it.

| Thanks for the tip, I am going to do it. I have sat and waited on the ground for the show and think since we are spoiling ourself with this trip that we will have a seat in the chair and the extra treat and drink while watching the show. Can't wait for my trip!

| I've done the Segway tour of DCA a couple of times, and really enjoyed it.

| I would love to do the Segway tour however my friend that I am going with is too big for that tour so I don't want to go and leave her behind. I'll have to take the tour the next time I go with my kids.
