| Hi, We are planning our first trip to Disneyland for the first week of December of this year. Does anyone know if they usually have any type of specials that time of year? Right now they have the buy 3 get 2 free deal, I'm looking for something similar or any type of discount before I book. Thanks!

| Aside from having lower prices, since it's "off season" between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I haven't seen any deals being offered beyond early Fall.

| We'll be there at that time as well. I've noticed that with GetAway Today HoJo's is offering the fourth night free. You will have a great time - Disneyland is so special during the Holiday season.

| Not for the faint-hearted Some of the deals are going to be last minute offers once you are here. We have stayed at the on site hotels recently and have run into the "holdover rate". On the morning of your check out day you receive an offer for half off or more of the room rate to stay one or more nights. They won't offer it for Sat., usually it's a Tues. or Wed. If you are comfortable negotiating and have a backup plan, pay for 2 or 3 days on the weekend and talk to the front desk for a discounted rate or a holdover rate for the middle of the week. I'm not sure what deals they will have in Dec. but right now local residents can buy a fun pass (3 day park hopper) for $99. The hotels are hardly full as we did ask and got to stay in our rooms an extra night which was on a Saturday the first week of August (had to use DVC points though). Disneyland wasn't full most days till 3 or so and California Adventure was never full. It's going to be deserted between Thanksgiving and the 14th or so of Dec. so you should find the hotels etc. offering deals and willing to deal.
