Touring DL Question

When is the best time of year to visit DL? I would like to go when the crowds are
low and when the weather is nice. What do you think?

I've heard that the fall is a nice time to go. We plan to go in October 2010. I believe I found somewhere on this site, the different seasons and October is considered a "value" season.

We went in mid October last year and it was wonderful. We were there weekdays and the crowds were non-existent. The weather was still very hot - I was told by locals that the 90 degrees we saw was unusual for that time of the year. Despite that, at least you don't get the humidity you get in Florida.

We went in September, 2006 and it was perfect. We arrived on Labor Day so that was really the only busy day. We had hardly any waits and over at the CA park, we rode several rides multiple times without having to get off. The weather was warm but not too hot and we had no rain at all.

We visited in November a couple years back and found the parks to be not crowded at all (excluding the Thanksgiving holiday).

We went once during the last week of February and first week of March and it was great!

The weather was wonderful and the crowds were low! I wouldn't hesitate to visit during that time of year again. :

I have been all times of year, but I like October and February best. Perfect weather, perfect crowd levels. It's magical!

I think between Oct 1 and just before Thanksgiving and between Thanksgiving (a couple of days later) and about Dec 10. Wonderful weather, crowd levels and (presuming it is continued) the Haunted Mansion overlay After Thanksgiving you add Christmas decorations, too!

Fall is great. Kids are back at school, weather is a little cooler than in the summer.

We went one year in Feb and it was really nice. Weekdays are the best if you can swing it. Mid-week especially.

I agree with others, the fall time is the best time of year. I will be there this October 13-20th and can't wait. The crowds should be mild aswell the weather.

Fall is the most predictable weather-wise, and crowds are low midweek. Our favorite time to go, though, is the week after Thanksgiving. All the Christmas stuff is in full swing, and crowds are very low. It can be a bit chilly in the evenings, depending on what your definition of chilly is. We come from a place with cold winters, so it's still warm for us.
