Mickey's Trick or Treat Party

Has anyone ever attended?

This was drawn to my attention from the Passporter e-mail I got. When I looked at the 2009 dates, guessing that the 2010 dates will be relatively the same, I realized it would fall in our 2010 trip to DisneyLand.

Anyway, I'm just wondering how it is. My daughter will be 11, so I'm sure she'll want to do a small amount of trick-or-treating, but I'm not sure how much.

Do they close the park unless you have a ticket to the party? Any details you can provide would be great.

I'm glad you enjoyed the article. They do close the California Adventure for that evening and admission is only through ticket entry.

We really enjoyed it. It's a lot cheaper than going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at WDW, so don't expect as much from this party - the parade is a lot smaller and there are no fireworks for starters, but we found it to be a lot of fun and loved all the Halloween touches everywhere.

The article was great! Knowing when they will close the park will help plan our days out there. I think I'll actually prefer a smaller event - as will my daughter. I'm just excited to learn something special will be happening when we are out there!

I am actually kind of sad that they have started doing this event at DL. It used to be my favorite night to go because the parks were absolutely, completely empty. Oh well, I am excited to try the DL version of the Halloween Party this year.
