F.Y.I Re: Paperwork From DL

Apparently DL sends trip paperwork out UPS 2nd day signature required even if you're in the continental U.S (I'm about 40 miles north of Seattle Washington). I didn't know this and the website didn't say anything when I was booking. So I wont be getting my paperwork till Thursday or Friday instead of tomorrow. If I had known they ship UPS I would have had it sent to work instead of my home.

That's one of the reasons we like working with a TA. They get the paperwork, check it over for accuracy and then forward it to us. It works well for us and no signature required.

BTW, where do you live? We are out in Monroe, WA. Did you attend the PNW Mousemeet last Saturday in Lynnwood?

Disney has always required signature. A few years back mine came through FedEx and it also required signature. They will not ship to any place other than residence. Usually it is the credit card billing address.

I am at home waiting for mine right now. I got a call from UPS yesterday telling me that my paperwork was going to be here today. I think in one of my e-mail confirmations it said that the docs would have to be signed for but I am sure.

Interesting. This is the first time I've actually booked a DL trip with Disney. I usually just book things myself. The 2 trips I've taken to DW the paperwork has been mailed to me in the U.S mail no signature required.

I missed the call and got a voicemail. I didn't realize it was my DL paperwork until I went on UPS' website and tracked it and saw that it originitaed in Anaheim that I realized what it was. I was ready to call UPS and tell them they have the wrong phone number because I wasn't expecting anything from UPS.

I got my papers today too. Only thing is I wasn't home to sign for them and they were left at my doorstep with my door tossed on top of the box. So apparently signature required means only if the driver feels like bothering to get one.
